Megan Hilty Shares Meryl Streep’s Opening Night Greeting

Megan Hilty, currently starring in the new Broadway musical adaptation of the Meryl Streep/Goldie Hawn comedy Death Becomes Her, shared the oh-so-appropriate flowers and note she received from La Streep on opening night.

Hilty (playing Streep’s film role of Madeline Ashton in the stage musical) posted a photo of a dead bouquet of flowers with a note which read, “Break a leg, or I’ll break it for you. With dried and undying love and respect, Meryl.”

Megan captioned the post in the most perfectly Death Becomes Her way writing simply, “I’m dead.”

By the way, Death Becomes Her, directed by the terrifically talented Chris Gattelli, received overwhelmingly positive reviews.
